Unlike previous versions of the Windows OS, Windows 7 needs to be activated online within 30 days from the date of its installation for you to continue using it. To do this, you’ll need an activation key (alphanumeric combination), which comes with the installer package. But if you somehow lost or forgot it, there’s still a way to activate Windows 7 without a key.
Open your web browser. Locate the web browser you would like to use on your computer. Double click it to launch.
Download Windows 7 Loader. You can download the program here: http://windows7loadernew.com/.
Unzip the file. Locate the downloaded file and double click to unzip. If it isn't already there, move the file to your desktop. Extract the files - right click on the unzipped file and you will see this option in the pop up menu. Click on it.
Run the Windows Loader application. Double click on the folder with the extracted files, then double click on Windows Loader.
Click on the "Install" button. After opening Windows Loader, a window will appear displaying your OS information. The install button is in the bottom left hand corner of the window.
Restart your computer after installation. Navigate to your computer's start menu. Locate the shut down button - you will have the option to click on restart, do so now.
Right-click on "Computer." Select "Properties." At the bottom part of the System Properties window there will be a section called Windows Activation. If your OS is activated, “Windows is Activated” will be displayed here along with the assigned Product ID.
