Ever wanted to make your own Family DVD? Wonder how your friend or family member does it? If you have Windows 7, this is for you!
- Open your start menu and type 'Windows DVD Maker'. Click on the top link.
- Click 'Choose Photos and Videos'
- Add your media e.g. Wedding Photos or Band Videos
- You can change the DVD Title at the bottom in the DVD Title field which should already contain the date.
- Next, choose a theme. The themes are:
- Baby Blue
- Baby Pink
- Bandwidth
- Color Cycle
- Full Screen
- Highlights
- Layers
- Page Flip
- Performance
- Photographs
- Push
- Reflections
- Rolling Hills
- Scrapbook
- Shatter
- Soft Focus
- Special Occasion
- Travel
- Video Wall
- Vintage
- To edit your video menu and add music, use the top links.
- Add a DVD-RW or similar drive to your disc drive, then simply click burn and wait for it to burn. This may take 10-60mins, depending on what media and how much media you added.
Thanks for taking the trouble here but I am confused regarding the "themes" e.g what do "baby blue", "baby pink", "bandwidth" etc. actually mean? I have a video in 4:5 format and I want the DVD to display it as is - i.e. not distorted by horizontal stretch or compression - how do I select this?
