Ever wanted to make your own Family DVD? Wonder how your friend or family member does it? If you have Windows 7, this is for you!

  1. Open your start menu and type 'Windows DVD Maker'. Click on the top link.
  2. Click 'Choose Photos and Videos'
  3. Add your media e.g. Wedding Photos or Band Videos
  4. You can change the DVD Title at the bottom in the DVD Title field which should already contain the date.
    1. Next, choose a theme. The themes are:
    2. Baby Blue
    • Baby Pink
    • Bandwidth
    • Color Cycle
    • Full Screen
    • Highlights
    • Layers
    • Page Flip
    • Performance
    • Photographs
    • Push

    1. Thanks for taking the trouble here but I am confused regarding the "themes" e.g what do "baby blue", "baby pink", "bandwidth" etc. actually mean? I have a video in 4:5 format and I want the DVD to display it as is - i.e. not distorted by horizontal stretch or compression - how do I select this?
